I'm getting quite sick of the constant rabid S3 bashing. Fine, it wasn't perfect and might have been a little weak compared to seasons 1 and 2. Maybe they spent too much time on filler and fanservice. And yes, there were some aspects, relationships, etc that deserved more exploration and proper screen time. But you know what? Hating it doesn't make you better than everyone else, nor does it make people who enjoyed it "bubbleheads". (I'm serious, someone on hated_character said, after sitting through an S3 bashing convo, that she felt like a bubblehead because S3 was her favorite. That makes me sad because while those people are completely entitled to their opinions, that person shouldn't have to feel bad because of hers.)
Also, the Zuko vs. Aang wars can stop any time now. Like one or the other or like them both, but just like with any personal preference pushing one down to build the other up makes you look like a jackass. So do us all a favor and STFU about it, kay?
Current Mood: bitchy
Heck, one can see S3's flaws and still enjoy it. It was nice to see the Fire Nation both from an outsider perspective (the Gaang) and the insider one from Zuko, Azula, Mai and Ty Lee -- I think a lot of that gave it the depth that the Earth Kingdom had thanks to the previous seasons. And I liked how the writers did what they could to both cover Zuko's growth as a character and his integration into the cast. But, I do wish they had set up some things better.
Exactly! I think people just have a problem with the idea that you can find fault with something but not hate it.

S3 is my favorite. If that makes me a bubblehead, then fine. Better than being an asshead.
But seriously. Fighting's more trouble than it's worth. If people can't express their opinions w/o being dicks about it, it's called STFU. Do it.

Silly Risa, Earth logic on these internets? XD But seriously, they really should. I don't care if it's totally cool and trendy to be a little shit about expressing one's opinion, it's douchey behavior and people who indulge in it are assholes.
I'm getting sick of it too. I actually loved S3. If people don't like it, that's their opinion and all, but it's been over a year now. -_-
